Bio

The name “Master of None” represents two different things about me. The first would be the obvious take on “Jack of all trades, master of none, but better than master of one”. It’s to celebrate the love I have for so many different hobbies and interests, and that the pursuit of joy should be an ongoing and expansive goal that leads you down many different paths. The second is a promise to myself that I will never stop learning from everyone around me, and that the moment I consider myself a master, is the moment that I stop my growth. To forever be a student of the world is one of the best gifts we can open ourselves up to. I am a master of none, and a student of many.
My hair journey started in 2018 when I was working as a makeup artist in Vancouver. Although my educational background was in makeup, I had always loved working with hair, and although there were so many cool projects I got to be a part of, I still wasn’t feeling fulfilled. It’s only when I moved back home to Alberta and started cutting my family’s hair that it all clicked! Going back to school and diving fully into barbering was the best career move I could’ve made, and I’m very thankful for all the twists in life that got me here.
My favourite part about barbering is the attention to detail and the problem solving. Collaboration, understanding, honesty, and creativity are the foundations of my work, and I won’t be satisfied until you get a cut that works for your lifestyle, hair type, and style goals. I’m a short hair specialist, and a pro when it comes to beards and facial hair of all types!
If you’re someone who appreciates a creative take on classic barbering, I would love to see you in my chair. You can book by clicking the link below or contacting me at:
