Elsie Hale

Bio
Hello, my name is Elsie! I’m a 23 year old Red Seal hairstylist with over 7 years of experience in the industry (yes, I started young).
My passion for hair began long before I ever stepped into a salon. Growing up, I was constantly braiding my friends’ hair, giving my Barbies dramatic haircuts, and begging my mom to let me colour my own. But it wasn’t until I entered cosmetology in high school that I realized hairstyling could become a real career for me, and from that point on, I was all in.
I completed half of my technical training while still in high school and began my apprenticeship during my grade 12 year. By the time I graduated, I was already working full-time behind the chair. Throughout my apprenticeship, I dedicated myself to learning everything I could, growing my clientele, and taking every opportunity to refine my craft.
The moment I completed my hours and received my license, I made the leap into chair rental and entrepreneurship. Taking that step so young was definitely a risk, and there was a lot to learn along the way, but it quickly became clear that I loved not only doing hair, but building something of my own. Over the past two years of chair renting, my vision for creating a luxury salon experience continued to grow — and that vision has now become House of Hale.
House of Hale was created to be more than just a hair appointment. I wanted to create a space that feels elevated, welcoming, inspiring, and personal. Somewhere clients can come to relax, feel confident, and truly enjoy the experience from start to finish.
I specialize in blonding, lived-in colour, and extensions, and I’m proud to work alongside Pony Hair Extensions as both a brand ambassador and educator. Creating effortless, dimensional colour and long, luxurious hair is truly what I love most.
Outside of the salon, you can usually find me reading, spending time outdoors, having wine nights with friends, or hanging out with my boyfriend and our sweet child, Poppy — who is actually a cat, but very much the love of our lives.
If you’re a fellow cat lover, book girl, professional yapper, or just someone looking for beautiful lived-in colour or hair down to your butt, I may just be the stylist for you. I would absolutely love to connect and have you in my chair.
